under this link (SAP Fiori App Types and Database Requirements - SAP Fiori for SAP Business Suite - SAP Library ) i found Information about
Fiori Analytical App. The lowest Image shows possible System Landscapes for Analytical Apps. And here are my questions :
1. As i understand, Analytical Apps are hosted on XS-Engine to benefit from the performance offered by XS-Engine. But the image contains two alternative Architectures. Why should an Analytical App be hosted on ABAP-Backend ? What advantage does the alternative architecture offer ?
2. If an Analytical App is hosted on ABAP-Backend, how can we use the VDM-Content ?
3. If we have an Analytical App hosted on XS-Engine, do we have to generate an HANA-User , which has the same Privileges as the corresponding
ERP-User ? Am i right with this assumption and if yes how is this normally done ?
